First, harmony with yourself,
then with others
and everything.
I begin the new year by participating in a group exhibit celebrating our Cosmos.
The show continues until February 1st.
Galerie Crystal Racine 1701 Gilford, Montreal.
I’m an adventurous ten years old, alone at the zoo; it’s an idyllic prairie-blue-sky summer day. Suddenly I am confronted by a large bird screeching pityingly at the sky and pounding its wings against the bars of its cage. No one seems to notice; how is it everyone walks by so oblivious? Distraught I chase down a zookeeper who explains it’s just a golden eagle that has arrived; this is its first day. This heartbreaking sight cuts me to this day. When I paint I feel a golden eagle breaking through – gliding out into the embrace of an open universe. This year I aspire to soar to greater heights in search of images that inspire, that restore freedom of the Spirit and a greater respect for our place in nature.
The BINARY STARS exhibit is on from December 4th until the 16th.
I will be present at the Gallery on weekends on the afternoons of the 15th and 16th from 1 pm onwards until 6 pm.
The vernissage was a success and included a performance of poetry by André Guy Robert, accompanied by yours truly on harmonica.
The opening is from 5 pm to 8:30 pm at the Galerie Crystal Racine – 1701 Gilford Montréal, QC Tel: 514-284-2347.
A binary star is a star system consisting of two stars orbiting around their common center of mass. Crystal and I are exhibiting values that are our shared center: universality, humanism, ecology and a cosmologic perspective.

The roots of my cosmological perspective
My childhood was dedicated to solitary daydreaming – an infinite pleasure wandering beneath prairie skies. And so I create the art only as I am and not by anyone else’s rules; my heart and mind are open to the wonders of both the visible and invisible. I began painting because I am fascinated by the state of fixed contemplation in front of a work of art, where the infinitely large and infinitely small meld with my inner life. During the creative process there is a furious vitality that grows within me – a freedom within which I seek and seek relentlessly until I discover what reveals the radiant Mystery of being.

Crystal Racine and I will be exhibiting together the values we share: universality, humanism, ecology and a cosmologic perspective.
The vernissage is Thursday, December 6th at the Galerie Crystal Racine

The colours and ambience in Cuba were both stimulating and restful. The next few months I’m painting a new cosmological series for my exhibit in early December with cosmological artiste: Crystal Racine. I’ll keep you posted with new work as it happens.
Thanks for your welcoming comments on my new web site!
Kind regards,
